I totally agree with you. People who surf the great lakes are the most dedicated because they have learned not to take their waves for granted. I love to surf but as luck would have it, I live in Ontario. Another thing, people who surf in lake ont are not huge pricks, they are genuinly entusiastic about the sport. I have surfed the lakes for only a few years now and I have never had a problem with anyone in the water.

Vince. We surfed Bluffers park last week. It was waist to chest and really glassy. This Sat. should have waves too. Thurs should be good at A-Bay hope to see some other ppl in the water.

thanks for the reply Rob - I'll definitely check Bluffers park out next good SW we get. right now just trying to get in shape so I can stay out more than 20 minutes in these crazy temperatures!

Yeh for sure, im an Australian surfer wanting to know the local knowledge of toronto surf spots.
Wont it be to bloody cold but still keen, please hook me up cause i would be stoked to catch so wave with icebergs flooting by. Thanks mates!

I am from Mississauga but haven't lived there for quite a while... I think Toronto definetly could use a surfers athmosphere...
I have been surfing in Africa, Hawaii and CA.. if you would like info or would like to hook up to surf... e-mail me... Also it would be great when I visit my folks to be able to hang out with people who have the same interest... If LEEDS, UK has a surf club with over 150 members... I think Toronto needs to have one as well... so... I am interested... let me know...Cheers
