Check out The Shaka Surf Club in Manipal, Karnataka. As Roy mentioned earlier, we don't have any surf shops here and all the boards we get are hand me downs from surfers passing by. This is why we like to take extra precaution for our boards. We don't give out our boards for rent, to take on your own. But you're more than welcome to rent our boards and surf with us :)
The Shaka Surf Club was started by my boyfriend Tushar and I. Our club basically consists of the local children who live at the beach we surf at, travelling surfers and the two of us. If you're ever in the south of India, come catch some waves with us! We'd love to show you our little part of the world. :D

Hey, have you actually seen any waves in Goa? If there are no surfboards to be had in Goa, it's because there aren't any waves. Why swim against the tide?

I'd be happy to DHL you my 6.7 Erie Peeples tri-fin swallow tail to Mumbai if the price is right and the money is sent up front. :)

You can get custom surfboards made in India in Mamallapuram. These guys are ex stone carvers, ex fishermen turned surfers. Made from imported materials they produce high end custom boards for a cheaper price than anywhere else. http://www.templesurboards.com
