Well well i am Abdoulie and i am a young lad that love surfing and i live in Banjul but bet me the best place to surf in the Gambia is in Brufut or Gunjur i am a Biginner and i dont think many Gambian People dont ever heard of Surfing.
My dream is that in The Gambia we young lads and lass can have a surfing Academy and join the rest of the world in every Surfing compitition,
my other big Dream is to be the First Gambian Surfer in My country's History so anybody ready to help me out in working this out just drop me a mail.

Surf's up! I was at Kololi Beach on Sunday and there was some large stuff coming in with not much wind. It was still closing out as it is a beach break. I heard that Gunjur had some nice waves and I will check it out this weekend.
Fred, you should have called me man ;)

Alright mate. 100 quid car? Sounds like you did the plymouth to banjul rally. Me and a mate are doing it in Jan2008. Do you know wher the best place to stay and surf is? We've got a week to catch some waves but nothing to raw as I'm a newby. Got any advice on the rally also?

I'm staying at the Senegambia Hotel in early Jan and wondered if the waves nearby are any good for bodyboarding? If so would you recommend bringing my board or hiring?
