In fact, if anybody from the Toronto area is travelling to OZ and wants to go surfing on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, give us a yell? I live in Dee Why and love to share the stoke with people from my girls hometown.

I just came across this site as I was looking at surfing as well! I learned in Byron Bay last year and if you are heading out next summer, let me know. I am a beginner, but it would be great to get some people out on Lake Ontario.

Oh, no! Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water (forum)? New aka's for tom: Collie dog, booty, somethin 21, what the hell? Now, I know Globalsurfers is doomed, but, anyway; nobody's going bto crowd the 'great lkes' because of heavy metals comtamination, but even more nefarious, is a move by southern Californian and 'Lake' Republicans to divert already shrinking water sources to the desert southwest; tragically, like ecowarrior Ed Abbey noted, this area is the 'National Sacrifice Area' and that means water taken to supply development keeping this immoral country from sinking deeply! Vote green or lose it all!

Just like I Bike alone. I surf alone !!!! Nothing like open water infront of you and land behind you. It's spiritual and means something different to every surfer. We don't need clubs. We need water, waves, and babes !!!!!!

Thanks Beauty21, I will keep my eye on this site now, and when I am in TO, it would be a blast to catch some freshwater waves in Lake Ontario.
