I just came back from Hawaii...tried surfing the first time and loved it no matter how painful my shoulders and back were afterward. Needless to say, I need to develop better back-shoulder muscles for paddling. Anybody know where in Ontario I can practice surfing, or even just paddling? Even good ripples will do but current must not be strong. Thanks.
I'm actually surprise to find surfing thread for Canada! Cheers!!

I'm interested on learning to surf. I tried in Hawaii and I got stoked. Are you teaching or know someone who does? Thanks.

I just moved to London Ontario not so long ago and have heard alot of rumours about surfing the great lakes. I used to teach surfing in Westward Ho in England and am in desperate need of some blue juice. If anyone can tell me where some good spots are and when they are pumping I would greatly appreciate it!

Just moved to Ottawa from the North Shore of Superior. Need to surf or I'll go crazy. Thinking of running down to Sandbanks on Ontario. I hear a good SW wind will work. Anybody know if the ice is a problem?
