come to adelaide. every1 is shit scared of sharks so tourist kooks are non existent and they aint even gonna hurt ya. heaps of good waves around. Flinders Uni is good. half hour drive to some fun beachies. hours drive to some mad waves and on weekends, 3 hour yorkes trip to insane uncrowded waves (except for holidays)

GO TO UNI OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA...wicked social scene, and the waves here are uncrowded compared to the metropolis breaks around goldy and central sydney

QUT is not near the beach but you can surf on the Gold Coast which is about 45mins to an hour away. It is in Brisbane.
Griffith Uni is nowhere near the beach either.

I am going to be studying abroad at the University of Sunshine Coast come February and I was wondering what the surf is like in that area. Thanks

The Sunny Coast is good,
not as consistent as the Goldie waves but it doesn't
matter cause crowds are heaps thinner & laid back.
The whole Kawana stretch
(Buddina to Wurtulla) gets glassy peaky beachies only
about 15min from the uni.
