you go on the dalhousie Halifax forum telling all us english to stay out of Quebec and away from all of your french girls, and than you come to the (ENGLISH)Toronto forum and want to join and want to join the club?!? Youve obviously never been east otherwise you would be trying to join our club.  The only difference with us is we can smell 'shallowphone' people!
So save yourself problems and stay over there!

I'm getting a lot of emails from people who are interested in a group.  There already is a surf group known as the ESA - eastern surfing association.  I would love to run a club but not really sure where we would meet or who would really be interested.  There are only 4 guys in TO who I consistently surf with.  Every one else seems to just come and go randomly.  Would be nice to have a big crew to surf with though.

For anyone else here who is interested.  We will be meeting at Bluffers Park this Sunday for surf.  Forecast is calling for 4-6ft.  Should be fun.

Re:Francophony...(Funny by the way..lol)
..Sorry you didn't appreciate the sarcasm in my other post  aimed at I.A. and the Kid regarding "Dalhousie",(Read their posts re:Dalhousie)

Facts are...I was born in Toronto,(anglo-phone),have many franco-phone friends(and family),went to school in Quebec City,(Aswell as many other places),
am reasonably billingual, have lived in (not visited) most every province in Canada,(Except for Nfld and P.E.I.),aswell as Europe twice.
I also spent a couple of years living and surfing(Badly) in Lawrencetown, still own propery there, and get down there whenever finances permit!(Respects to Paul,Ian,Lance,Joe,Les,Vince,Nico,etc.....)

Yes I have surfed Lawrencetown in Feb.,more than once,
by myself...badly,...and loved it!
First skimmed & surfed (badly) Lakes Erie,Huron and Ontario in the mid 80's,(Respects to Dave,Jam,Finz,Magilla etc..)
...I've also at least visited/if not surfed at (badly),many of the beachs between Sebastion and Lawrencetown including Spanish house,Melbourne,Patricks,Hatteras,V.B.,Ocean City,Hampton,Rye,York,...and a few others.
In short I have enjoyed the gracious hospitality of many beachs, surfers, and people in general,of many languages.., as has any travelling surfer (or student).

Further..., allthough I've always found the whole Lawrencetown crowd very hospitable and supportive, more than a few of the Lawrencetown "locals",aren't originally from Nova Scotia,or even Canada,
let alone Lawrencetown proper...not that it matters!
   ~LOCALISM SUCKS !
........was my point to I.A. and the Kid,
and anyone who appreciates the sport of "Kings" enuff to try and do it,male or female...standing tall,or prone,...with or without a board,
deserves Respect, encouragement, and maybe some friendly advice on how to improve! You never know where you may have to surf next,...or need help,....Try be nice!

10 reasons ou should give up surfing;
1 you admit you surf poorly
2 you dont surf moe than 10 times a year
3 you are over the hill
4 you have never surfed anything other than beach break
5 you are a wannabe
6 you give respect out to people in the surfing community who dont even know you
7 you have surfed all over the globe and still cant bottom turn
8 you only surf when it is sunny
9 you talk about surfing in the 80's
10 you talk about all of the great ankle slappers you caught in Huron

PS  i am just being sarcastic if nobody noticed!
