to answer the questions about where in Britian there is big surf. Think about it: if theres a big enough swell then anywhere is gonna et big surf , especially on the west coast. regardless if its england or scotland etc. and yeah, Bundoran (the peak)rocks!

hi..im a jetskier from orkney and im pretty sure we get some of the biggest surf in the uk! today is mental!

I have surfed 15-20ft plus waves on reef breaks off Tresco in the Isles of Scilly, out in the Atlantic, Southwest of Cornwall. I also have photos of the surf much bigger. Huge Atlantic swells hit the Isles throughout winter and break over reefs and in passages between the islands. There is no surfing community there and the islands are remote but if you have a good boat and jetski, or time, well worth a look in winter or late autumn.
