It's funny that you are mentioning longboards and the El Quixote Inn.  When there is a good south swell, there is an island right in front of your hotel called Bird Island w/ a cut-off right, reef/ledge break there that gets up to 15 feet.  You can see a picture of it breaking huge on our surf site. As the wave slams up against the island, it rebounds about 75 degrees and reforms right in front of your hotel in the form of a perfect, long left which under the right conditions is a spectacular wave for any hybrid/longboard, similar to the diamond head or Kaisers in Waikiki - a truly incredible wave when it's working.

I suppose you consider it a four letter word but it is actually two four letter words that immediately follow two other words, that come immediately before the two four letter words.

I will be in Mazatlan in June and i am sketched out on getting a rental car. Does anyone have any advise on getting around Mazatlan? Is the bus or taxi the best bet? Are they cool about surfboards?
