I am half Aussie half Filipino and only recently discovered dual residency. It means i am excited to discover great beaches and surf in Philippines. Is there a whole surf culture of locals and 'whites' also? I look Aussie and have been told I can be ripped off which i would hate. Is it really as good as Oz or Bali? let me know.

hey I am now in dumaguete and will be traveling/living between here and bayawan. Does anyone around the area surf. I am a also a kitesurf and it would be great to find another person to kite with. If anyone knows what the weather is like interms of wind and waves for this region that would be very helpful.
Peace and Swell
