For those looking to start, get lessons or for new equipment I know the guys at Surfontario.ca do a really great job. Lessons are typically offered in the summer but you should email them and help you get started.

This is amazing!!! a whole community of surfers in Ontario getting out and catching waves.
Im originally from South Africa, started learning as a kid and Ive spent a lot of time surfing the entire coast of SA, Cali, and Vancouver Island. I've lived in toronto most of my life and had NO IDEA we can surf here.
Im a die hard i just love being in the water in a small 4 footer would just put me in cloud 9. Can anyone give me any info? what are the good spots around the city? What season is best? Anything good during the summer?

Hey Marcello. Try Scarborough bluffs in a south-easterly. You should see fellow surfers out there who may hook you up with other local breaks. Happy waves budz,
