hey julian... it will definitely be cheaper to find a board once you get to costa. the only thing is, if you are planning to buy second hand it may take some time to find a good board for you. if you're only there for 2 weeks, you don't wanna waste too much time shopping. if you're heading straight for a popular surf town though, you can probably find something. if you decide to buy before you go, come by boardsports at yonge and davisville. i'm so jealous, you're gonna have a wicked time.
if there's still waves is anyone heading to skyway bridge at all this week? let me know, im solo and wanna get out

i'm no expert on lake waves, some of the other guys are like meteorologists, but if you follow the weather patterns and no which wind direction affects what area its realativly easy to predict when swell will hit, i have surfed once in actual toronto, most of the time im about 40 minutes west of the city there is a good spot there....if your looking for consistency dont get your hopes up but when it does happen the feeling from surfing in fresh water is incredible and i've never seen people so stoked in all my travels....
email me for specifics

Hey Rat... why don't you stay in Whistler and keep deep throating all the yuppies, Japanese tourists and Americans that bring pretty much every penny into that town. You sound like you'd be happier in Calgary with Ralph Klien and the rest of the ignorant dipshits.
