Good session today. Most of the guys showed up and even a few unexpected, but not all at once. There were only 4 guys in the water at any given time. I lasted 3 hours. Could have went longer if I had ate more before I surfed. I got too hungry.
Surf gear advice: Excel 7mm mits kept my hands so warm they were sweating IN 38 DEGREE WATER!!! Buy them you won't be sorry.

just came across this now.
i've been working on a board sports site for canada for the past while, learning as i went.
i used to read and occasionally post on a lakes site before it went down, and that's about when/why i started mine
but yeah, it's nothing special(yet), but it's a forum/image gallery and more to come.
sections for surf/snowboard/skate/wake/kite
i'd post the direct link, but i don't wanna offend. and i'm not trying to step on anyone's toes, just if nothing is already up, this is going now and an option. email for it if you're interested

I would be interested joining a surf club. I don't have much surf experiance but have always wanted to. I thought wakeboarding was as close as I could get to surfing in Toronto :-) Please let me know about such a club. or even how I can get started surfing in Toronto. I didn't think we had the proper conditions to surf here. needless to say these threads have given me new hope!
