We are looking around Sunzal and tunco for accom.? Any ideas would be great ....also of the situation there at the moment? How bad is it really and is it worse inland or the coast.....Thanks all...

you certainly can, I was there 2 years ago and am going back. Paid $18 from airport to La Libertad.  The best is Zonte surf camp which is 25 mins up road by bus.   Definitely check it out.
