I was in Arombol, about 40min north of ajuna, in 2000 and they had surfboards, body boards and wind surfers for hire. You could try there. these places tend to come and go so they may not be there now. Ask anywhere where there are paragliders and the may be ablie to point you in the right direction. Enjoy

There are are a few beach shacks that rent boards and body boards on baga beach, its just a matter of walking along the beach and you will usually see them propped up against the beach shacks, those beach shacks that have them usually only have the odd one or two, so better to bring your own if you can.
I was in Goa last feb and had some big waves at morjim after four days of 25-30 mph winds, i was kitesurfing at the time and recon the waves were 6-8ft maybe bigger, i've found morjim to be the best as the waves ramp up over the sand bar and the currents, whilst still strong at times, are not as bad as some of the beaches in Goa.
Anyone interested in meeting up, i can usually be found in the Lucky Star beach shack at Baga, and arrive in Goa on the 3/3/2006.

The best chance of renting a board is from one of the beach shacks on either Baga,Calangute or Candolim Beaches.
