New Smyrna is the most Consistent, but Sebastian is a much better wave the locals aren't too bad if you're not a kook, but I definitely wouldn't recommend goin there and actin like you run s***

use your head and get your priorities in focus first then maybe you can make time for what's important to your sanity.
no one is really saying squat mainly because they are selfish and don't want  an influx of 'element' moving to their locale' hogging up their lines.what ever doodz!new Smyrna is full of sharks good luck with that.
so is WPB and south of that you begin have good days and bad days(flat)  WPB "is" centrally located and you got the chance to go  north and south at peak times of the year without too much travel time involved. some say it is best to stay out the shadow of the Bahamas for the most consistent waves

im in orlando. and to tell you the truth its not all that great. cocoa beach is prob. your best bet. because of this past storm we got from the hurricane we had 10-14ft waves.. but thats the biggest ive seen in about 3 years. ne where around central fl you should get good swell. the norm is about 2-4ft thow. like i said cocoa is your best bet. you get good left and right breaks also the swell size is stedy and you can go hust about every day... check magicseaweed.com and surfline.com hope tis helps homie

Volusia/Flagler counties are laid-back, have decent surf and people are friendly. Good luck in your search!

brevard country is the best strip of quality surf in florida for sure. Cocoa beach,Patricks afb, sattelite beach, melbourne, and sebastain all have some very nice breaks. You just have to pay attention in florida and you can find some good surf for sure.

I've seen many posts about Cocoa or Sebastian Inlet. Jax beaches are fine considering most Florida swells are not good. Normally poor to fair surf (2-4 ft). However, unless you are independently wealthy, you will need a job and Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida with a strong job market which makes Jax a good overall option. It is possible to live on or near the beach and still have a decent commute into town.
