for those of you who were fortunate enough to catch some waves yesterday, holy shit I could not belive I was in Ontario. Went to Hamilton Beach yesterday right off the QEW and the waves were huge, a bit sloppy and powerful but it was incredible. I mean no Hawaii, but those waves we strong then south shore Hawaii in the summer, they were of the hook. I got so worked yesterday it was awsome! Sorry, had to share my excitment with anyone who would listen/understand my friends are surfers, best birthday gift ever!

Hey all .... started the day yesterday down at the Bridge in Burlington. The shit was blowin all over the place ... HUGE crazy washing machine. Impossible to read and ride.
Decided to head down closer to Centennial Parkway ... right out front of that beach restaurant was the sweetest lake waves I have ever seen. 4 of us out ... riding the 5 footers that were clean, uniform and much more predictable. The paddle out was intense but well worth the abuse once you made it outside. Lookin forward to some good 4 footers on Erie tomorrow morn. See ya for dawn patrol.

Hey all.. Just a heads up for anyone, Lake Huron up around Point Clark and north is looking pretty good.!!

I was up on Huron a few days ago. It was sweet. I'm kicking myself that I have to go back to school and couldn't enjoy yesterday since it seemed to be awesome as well. It died thurs, but wed was great.
I wasn't too impressed with Pt Clark though... Kincardine looked real promising had there been more wind thurs.

That is AWESOME! I wish I could have been there. I've never actually surfed there since I always seem to go on off days but it looks like it has crazy potential. Are you from the area? Do you ever head further south past Pt Clark? I've never seen any other surfers anywhere but it would be awesome to sometime.
