I was up on Huron a few days ago. It was sweet. I'm kicking myself that I have to go back to school and couldn't enjoy yesterday since it seemed to be awesome as well. It died thurs, but wed was great.
I wasn't too impressed with Pt Clark though... Kincardine looked real promising had there been more wind thurs.

That is AWESOME! I wish I could have been there. I've never actually surfed there since I always seem to go on off days but it looks like it has crazy potential. Are you from the area? Do you ever head further south past Pt Clark? I've never seen any other surfers anywhere but it would be awesome to sometime.

Hey EJ, by the way I am from that area so if you're ever up that way let me know. If you wouldnt mind, I wouldnt mind tagging along. I've been dying to try surfing forever but never realized you could on the lakes until a little while ago, so I just sort of gave up on the idea of learning. I grew up boating on Lake Ontario and live right beside Huron so I always knew they could get pretty rough, I just cant seem to convince my friends and boyfriend of that!! lol.. But it would be cool if I could actually tag along with someone who has some experience so I could maybe learn a thing or two!

Hey M, that's awesome. I just started this summer too and was lucky enough to catch some of the best days (so I've been told). It would cool to hook up with other surfers considering I often end up alone in the water.
I usually hang out south of Pt Clark, closer to Goderich and such, but I would love to do Kincardine/Inverhuron sometime.
I maybe will be back to Huron once more this year, but nothing's for sure since I'm at school now, very far away. Drop me an email if you're interested and I can email ya if I go up there. It would probably be around the end of October. ej.skate[at]gmail.com.

Not really too sure yet. I'm a total beginner! I'm just south of Sauble Beach though so if you're up this way let me know.
