Brad: does freeride bring in boards or normal wetsuits?

Kyle and myself are pretty much done of our boards now, and are planning on hitting up the Port Aux Basque region soon to check out the breaks, just wondering if anyone is planning on heading out to the West coast this summer that would like to go with us and bring the surf scene up here on the island.

Freeride is primarily a downhill bike store.  However, they have  access to other sports such as kiteboarding and therefore, drysuits.

They do not bring in surfboards.  There are a couple of stores in Halifax that you could score some second hand longboards from.  Shipping is expensive though.

I've got a v 6'3" Stussy which i'd be willing to get rig of.  Even signed by the man himself.

There isn't enough locals here to be jealous of breaks.  So get a life and be a little helpful

Hi Everyone,

I was also one of the first surfers in Newfoundland back in the late '80's. I have since moved to New Brunswick. I have a small windsurfing/kiteboarding/surfing shop set up, and Brad at Coffee and Company is selling some surfing gear on my behalf. I'm soon going to have DaKine, O'Neill, and Jimmy Lewis boards in. So if anyone is looking for wetsuits, leashes etc, get intouch with me, and I can get them to you. Also hoping to make it home to the Rock for a good surfing trip.

You just wait. The best is yet to come. New Yorkers have ruined the state of Florida, its beaches, quality of life, cost of living etc. etc. etc. Now I know why Hawiians are grouchy. The cold protects you for the moment; but wetsuits work now. They are coming, be very afraid. I heard if the GOOD waves CHEAP living and HOTTIE women. so guess what, they have too.... ah hahahahaha!

Anybody in the St. John's, NL area looking for a surf buddy.  I'm a girl so it would be fun to find another girl to go with.  I've surfed before but my trips south have become few and far between so I am basically a beginner.  Need to bite the bullet and get into NL waters or I'm afraid I'll never surf again.
