RE: la libertad

Hi,
I am thinking of visiting La Libertad for a surf trip.  I plan on going with my kids, 14 (boy) and 20 (girl) years old.  I have heard that it can be quite dangerous so i need to find out what the place is really like.  I see you spent some good time down there so I was wondering what you think about taking kids down there?  Is it safe?

I've also heard the surf spots are crowded and polluted.  Is that the case or what?  Would love to hear from you, thanks very much.

RE: la libertad

The Area right in La Libertad its a little dirty because the comercial Dock/Port of ships its just there, and it is crowded because of the same reason. but it is still a popular area to swim and surf, dont think u will grow green ears or a third eye if you go there , lol.
It is safety, yes, specially during the day, in the night it gets a bit like creepy.
For a safety place to stay, clean uncrowded, and close at the same time to the city and famous surf spots i offer my beach house, check out the webpage:
