Description

Brandons has some nice waves when its ready but mostly its better for just havin fun, if you want massive waves go to the east coast to Soupbowl or the surrounding area. Brandons is good because of its location, if your on the South Coast like me its a lot easier to drive 5 minutes to Brandons than to drive half an hour to SoupBowl. It is a small beach that also has a "pool" on the inside of the reef. if there is a good sized break, the best way to get out is probably to walk along the groin reef and then paddle out, saves you having to walk through a lot of water and over most of the submerged reef. Even when the waves are small they can be fun for people learning. The beach is not the best that the island has to offer, but there are a couple picnic tables and a rather large parking lot.
