Discription of surf spot: Cotonou, Benin
just east of the port along the jetty is the best break. Also try further west at Plage Jako. Look for a small restaurant called " Wadu" Marc is a surfer who owns the restaurant. The water is VERY warm, so bring some base coat for wax. There are no surfshops or anywhere to get surfing related items. Be prepared to get a crowd of local kids watching when you start surfing.
