Description

This is the closest wave from São Paulo, the biggest city of South América, with 16million inhabitans. So, you can imagine the crowd during the weekends! The locals try to keep some space by using ugly face and loud speaking. Its an ordinary wave, but it has good days. You can find some peace during the week, but never during the summer.

  • i have taken this picture from my apartment overlooking the surf, 5th floor, because of that it seems a bit bigger than it really is. Pitangueiras is where i have grown up and after 15 years surfing all around the world I would say this place rocks.. it is quite consistent all year long and does have its days. holds up to 3 meter if conditions are welcoming. enjoy committedtolife
