Hutches is far better and cleaner than the bridge. Only a few locals surf this spot everybody tends to head to the bridge. If the bridge is 3-4 foot plus and messy head down to Hutches for a pleasant surprise. Works best in big swell was epic this hurricane season with 5-7 foot breaking out the back. Caters to intermediate + surfers simply because the paddle out can be sketcky, big shorebreak in big swell...Do yourself a favor and check this spot first, you can drive right up and check...remember needs to be big to be good, a lot deeper water than the bridge****aug-dec is best and like all breaks on the lakes very inconsistent
