lots of ppl on the beach, but not that many in the water. locals dont know much if any english, good to bring a book or know your basics to communicate. i have no idea where the guys get their boards, havent seen one surf shop here and no one knows of surfing except regulars of that beach. i had to rent from a guy called paco who runs a surf tour company, dont recall the name, i think its called colima surf tours. its the best spot anywhere in manzanillo or near it.
