The spot is o the beaten path. You get off the main road pass a hotel and fallow the dirt road to the beach.
Talk to the locals when you get to the beach. They are very nice and will give you some tips. Beginners, make sure you paddle out through the channel. The current is strong and if the waves are 'on' if can be tough to get out. Again, watch the locals paddle out to see where the channel is. I like this factor because it keeps the number of people down.
.
The beach is isolated. It curves like a snake where the reef rises and the waves begin to form.
Really good rights and sometimes good lefts.
The right: Really nice when the wind is down in the early morning. Depth 10 ft
A left break forms sometimes, but is only suggested for intermediates to experts because if you wipeout you go straight into the reef. Stay tuned because if the left in going off you can get some small barrels.
Quality , consistent waves year round. 3,5 hours from New york on direct flights
