Description

This stretch of coastline is just down from Croyde. It is an undulating wave cut platform and at mid tide or above you will be treated to a couple of pointbreaks, some good peaks which peel both ways or some heavy barrels. This place is undiscovered due to people not bothering to come here. It is beautiful and the waves crank. It needs to be very big and clean perhaps dangerous at croyde for you to appreciate it here. The sky is the limit. The quality of the waves you get are dependant on how far you are prepared to walk. There is an epic pointbreak in the area which needs a very big swell to happen. Don't go in alone if it is big as you will probably get drowned. The reef is pretty nasty in places and the silly peaks may require helmets. Try the pushing tide as the wave will get more mellow, not the other way around. The peak out the back when it is big is greencliff rock, do not attempt to surf this at any time as you will die. It is very short, very square and very shallow. Come and check it.
