Description

The actual surfing beach is just outside La Tranche as there is a big fat island in the way there, but go north for about 2/3k and you're there! There's a big carpark right next to the beach but that usually fills up pretty quik during the summer so unless you want to carry your boards, I'd get up early! There's a lifeguarded part which is usually crowded but i short walk from there will land you where the surf is - you can see where cos all the locals will be rippin it up! Waves are quite tempremental but on a good day, you get some good 12ft barrel sets coming in. I've only ever known it to be less than 2ft once in the past 12 years but im not saying it doesn't happen! This can be quite good if you want to make use of a larger variety of boards (long or short, basically!) which are available to rent on most beaches on this stretch.
