Description

This spot can get unreal. Words cannot explain how good this place can get. It's over pretty much dry reef but it's slippery and somewhat soft so it's not as bad as you think it is. However you can get hurt really bad if you don't know how to land on the reef when you eat it. The are three sections: Hospitals, Tumboland, and Slippery Rock. On a good west-southwest swell all three sections connect for a picture perfect, 80-100 yard, machine-like and Indonesian-like left peeler. The current is unbelievably strong, pulling you across the beach in less than ten seconds. There is no way of fighting it; you have to let it take you. The crowd is heavy as hell, with little kids on the inside and the locals making their mouth very useful. So be cool out there and be prepared for verbal bashings, if not, fist bashings.
