Description

Located off the southern tip of the island of Java, where the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean and the equatorial waters of the Sunda Straits merge, lies one of the surfing world true un-spoilt paradise, Panaitan Island. Rich in surf and spectacular un-spoilt white sandy beaches, the Ujung ulon National Park, in which Panaitan Island lays, is also home to highly endangered Javan Rhinoceros, and has recently been bestowed with status of World Heritage (Natural Site). The Panaitan Surf Camp has been set up during the off-season of 2004 and holds exclusive to this surfer's paradise, guaranteeing un-crowded, un-spoilt perfect waves all year round.
