Not very busy with surfers, the most I have seen were 5 to 6 surfers a day. 
Description

The waves are not too big. good for beginners but bring your own board with you because there are only shortboards for hire on the beach. Price: 25000 to 50000 rp a day. There are not many surfers there. When I was there in September there were not so many surfers. Some dutch, german, ausies and there are most local surfers, but very friendly. There are a few hostels from 15000 to 35000 rupiah a night.
