Description

Kongs breaks way out the back in front of the point at G-land. There are several take off zones at Kongs alone, and bigger days break way out to sea to the left. It breaks from 3 to 10 feet plus, although above about 4-5 feet it gets too shifty and unruly. Best at low tide, a smallish day, with about 5 feet on the sets, and then it can link through to the rest of the point at G-Land. It is always the biggest of G-Lands waves, and usually the most uncrowded. It's actually a pretty mellow wave, with big faces and fast walls, it is the easiest wave to surf on the point at G-Land. Watch the currents, they change with tides.
