Description

Goood right hand barrel in the village of Hilisataro, only surfable around high tide. Hard to find, breaks close to the shore from about 2 to 4 or maybe 5 feet, over about 50m before it eventually runs onto nasty, pockety, very shallow, and sometimes dry reef. There is little or no escape at the end of the wave here, which is a pain in the arse because the wave tends to speed up as you go, enticing you deeper and deeper into the barrel, but pushing you closer and closer to an end section reef you don't want to meet. You will have to flick off or go through the back of the wave, and getting caught by the next incoming set is not fun, with nearly dry reef behind you. Experts or good intermediates only. It onlyt gets about half the swell as at Lagundri, so it needs a big swell to work.
