Description

World class right hand barrel, breaks hard and hollow, up to 300m or more long. Not very consistent, needs a big south swell, or a giant southwest swell to get around the east side of the island, and westerly or no winds. Its exposed, so any other winds wreck it. Sketchy at low tide, especially if big. Handles 3 to 12 feet+, but small 2-5 feet days are not indicative of how good it can get above 5 feet. It usually has several barrel sections, which can thin out the crowd, but waves can line up the whole way also. Very long barrels possible here. Possibly best at high tide, west wind, solid dead south or southeast swell, and 6 to 8 feet. One of the best waves in the Mentawais.
