Discription of surf spot: Shinkou, Japan
This place is either epic or mush, typhoon season gets huge, but there is usally something to surf even on the smaller days, gets crowded though not overly agro, plenty of drop-ins. The next beach a short walk away Gamou, gets just as good, it's a rivermouth so seems to get a bit more hollow, but always half the crowd down there.

| Other stuff to see & do | Enjoy the culture of Japan, eat shop etc, Sendai is a pretty big city, and easy to get around. Check out Kokobuncho for bars, about 2000bars in one street, though most of them are holes in the wall kind of places, couple of clubs but not much in the way of nightclubs. Bar isn't it is the main meat market, always good for a laugh. |
