Description

La Barra is a nice virgin beach poblated mostly by fishers. Its a beach beach break that has a nice leftside and frontside section. The best swells hits joust after a storm or as they call it here "norte". Te best hour to surf is early in the morning, thats when it gets glassy sometimes. There is an other cool point break just next to La Barra called La Playita, you can get there with the same boat you cach in Sontecomapan. La barra is a good place for beginners, but when a big swell hits than its bether an intermediate level. There is no danger of sharks or other animals and there is a really cool small hotel just 5 minutes from La Barra called "Rancho los amigos".
