Camp on bluff overlooking break. Cold water year round. Strong offshore wind in the afternoon. Thick kelp at low tide. Only go down on a big south or west swell. Big and slow outside - fast on the inside. On a good swell it is very crowded - over 50 cars showed up on big south swell in September 2005. Buy lobster from the fishermen. Victor comes to collect money ($5/car) and take garbage every day. Two outhouses and two trash barrels are only amenities. Very strong wind makes tent camping tough. Better to have a van.
