The best time to surf New Caledonia is between May and September. The big swells come from lows produced down south in the Southern Ocean & Tasman sea, the ones that bring snow, so winters definitely the go.
The wind is generally light offshore east north east in the morning until about 11.00 am -12.00 pm. It then slowly swings south east cross-shore and increases between 10 to 20 knots. Great for sailing to next location, or try fishing, diving & island exploration.
The wind tends to back off as the afternoon grows and swings back light offshore in the evening.
Targeted visitors for a fixed low yearly fee. $135 per year puts your name and link here.
