- Description
There is an inconsistent, awesome barreling righthander breaking off the bar at the entrance to Raglan harbour, only working on clean swells, higher tides and offshore east winds. Currents are very strong, you need a boat, and it doesn't break very often. Take a look at some of the photos in the surf shops in town. Tow-ins at 12 feet!. Long walls and barrels, with several sections. Not crowded, because of accessibility and difficulty.
