Waitara has alot of surf spots to offer, all in one. from the south, spotx takes a long paddle out into the surf but offers thick waves, really made for windsurfers, and kayakers. the boiler offers a righthanded wave usually 2-3 foot on a normal day. at low tide it's a walk to the bar, or a paddle at high tide, producing some of the best surf thea at 3-4 , heading across the river to the east side, just outside the local surf club is a left hander given accurate 2-3foot. on a good day a ride from the bar to the bay, or a huge 6foot solid. it offers left/right hand breaks, peak breacks, and a lot more, so warm up after in the black sand and spread the news .
