Description

This bay starts to peak with lefts and rights at about 4 feet with a low tide. OK rights and lefts can be had from about 4 to 8 feet, when Chicama Point is about 3 to 6 feet. It can start to be worth surfing at low tide and about 4-5 feet when Chicama is too small (2-3 feet sets), because it is always about 2 feet bigger. Completely empty lineup, the road takes you straight to the bay from town. Its the first bay after the sand-connected island on the end of the headland, which has an average point called Malpaso. Other bays down the point also have uncrowded peaks.
