Description

River no. 2 spills out into the Atlantic at this picturesque beach in Sierra Leone. Small waves break aroung the sand wash-out from the river-mouth which are ideal for beginners, and at the right time can provide some thrills for more experienced surfers. However, there is no surf report, or locals who have any idea what surfing is about who could report good conditions. This means that you have to drive down the peninsula and hope you hit it well. If not, you have one of the best beaches in West Africa to enjoy, and can take a trip up the river to enjoy the wildlife including monkeys, alligators, etc.
