Description

West Brooke is a favourite surfing spot of mine it really works well when a South Westerly wind is blowing and there is some big ground swell around.Some of South Africa's well known surfers frequent this spot like Noel Rame,Jason Ribbink,Paul Canning and Shane Thorn. When it is really big 8-10 feet it has big hollow barrels running off the point and it is possible for the experienced surfer to get some good cover up's.However when West Brooke gets over 6 feet it posses a real problem when trying to paddle out.This spot also has a really good beach break which peels left and right,West Brooke is a must if you want to have a really good surf session!
