Having only experience tis spot in the summer months, I am not valid to say 100% what it would be like in other seasons.
Small bay, sheltered from cross winds by the small points ever side of the bay. fantastic scenery, empty but can be heavy. may be a swell magnet!! (semi-secret spot)
This is a mid-high tide spot that on even a small swell will break boards! breaking onto a sand shelf the waves jacks up and throws a heavy lip, creating a barrel that I wouldn't want to get hit by. breaks into about 4 ft of water but watch out for the kelp and strong rips dragging you to the east side of the bay. there is also a rip that will pull you out to the take off, but make sure you dont get dragged to far over as it would then be a mission to get out. Mainly a right hander though the left is less surfed due to the rips on that side.
Entry is by the west (left looking out to sea) side of the bay. exit the same. Clean water, no crowds although there is a surf club that surfs it sometimes.
