Description

It works best on a south-west swell .Although it does'nt handel large size swell (nothing over 8 foot)it really is an adrenaline rush.This spot is really not for beginners because its not very forgiving on the take off. It usually barrels just as you've bottom turned . Take-off at the peak otherwise its like taking a passing freight train .Try to get some speed for the last bowl.Flowties and tubes guaranteed.Room for a couple of cut backs and re-entries.Avoid it on a north swell(Oct to Feb)It will just close out and though you on the reef.Unforgiving!Best time is now ( April/May)Glassy and Sunny.Enjoy :) Wave and crowd conditions can really change in matter of minutes .The locals boardriders are cool and respectfull .Try to surf it early in the morning and during the week outside school holydays.Remember...this spot is close to town ; Nice even just for the paddle and not too much risk getting caught by the current .
