Watch for bottles, branches and lumber in the water; some shallow rocks on the far south end of the break  
Description

OK surf spot. Fast break, mostly lefts, often jacks up to overhead ++ with little indication. Watch for garbage in the water, locals are fairly mellow. Heavy current at times, watch for the channel. Also watch for euro kooks that, despite good intentions, don't hold onto their boards or drop in on waves. Great rental shop on the south end, Phuket Surf, full quiver, though mostly long boards. Big egos and negative vibes can stay home. FYI Phuket Surf web site is closed.
