- Description
just to the east of turtles...waves break in a peak and then continue all the way around the point. an amazing ride. Just like turtles it needs to be big to work. minimum 6ft.
very rocky bottom, lots of boulders and stuff to fall on, waves can push you into the rocks when you fall, so try to stay on outside when paddling out, be careful of the strong rip currents that come racing around the point and beware of localism.
NY's worst wipeout ever was here, you can watch it on youtube.
