Good spot overall, not a secret spot by any stretch of the imagination that's why i decided to post it. Waves in summer are generally weak and very crowded, but it occasionally gets bigger, and the crowds thin out dramatically. I surf this spot in all seasons, and the summer crowds drive me insane, seems like if you live on Long Island and have aquired a longhboard within the past week you are driven to surf at Long Beach simply for the joy of endangering the lives of others. On the flip side, in the winter it is a beautiful spot to surf as the crowds tend to be very small, and the waves are usually pretty good.
