Description

Marine Street is a good alternative to the nearby Holyoak Ave, which can be overly crowded. Works best in a West, Northwest wind with 4-6 ft surf. Hurricanes and tropical storms are the best wave producers, thus the best time of year is the fall (August-October). The only negative is that in the summertime the beaches of LBI are restricted to swimming only from 10-5. Thus dawn patrols and evening sessions are the only time you'll be allowed in the water, however, these are also the best times for offshore winds
