Ocracoke turns on very rarely and chances are if you go there you will get skunked! Ocracoke is one big fickle sandbar that is too weak at high tide and closes out at low tide so check it often. Anything from a big NE swell to a SW wind chop can produce a ridable wave, but if you really want to see what it can do wait for a hurricane or a big Low pressure to stall offshore complimented by a W to NW wind. If you are one of the fortunate few that catches south point going off you will have a whole new perspective of the east coast. your better off staying in hatteras with the rest of the rippers though. ocracoke is a hostile environment and faggots run rampant. if a guy named felcher asks for a ride, get away as fast as you can!unless that kind of shit floats your boat
